A group of schoolchildren from Chairman’s College in Auckland, New Zealand, set sail aboard the schooner Sloughi on an end-of-year trip. A hurricane causes the ship to be shipwrecked hundreds of miles from home and its passengers (all children) arrive on a deserted island in the Pacific, which they call Chairman Island (Hanover Island). Thus, the play runs through the adventures of a group of schoolchildren from Chairman’s School.

Thus, the work runs between the adventures of the young people and their attempts to survive in an inhospitable and lonely landscape.

Sin embargo, tengo que tener cuidado con lo que escribo porque las escuelas son muy preciadas en cuanto a los mensajes que se difunden sobre ellas y amenazan con ser muy litigiosas. No obstante, si sé algo sobre una escuela y me preguntas al respecto, te lo haré saber. (Normalmente en una llamada telefónica por si acaso).
